Insurgents sustain 6 casualties—mine detected in North 

Acting Public Affairs Officer of ANA 209th Shaheen Military Corps states 2 armed opponents of government have been killed and 4 wounded in Faryab province and a mine detected in outskirts of Baghlan province. 

Maj. Nasir Ahmad Sultani told Bayanshamal that 2 militants had been killed and 4 wounded in consequence of clash between armed opponents of government and Afghan security forces over 24 hours in Qara Shikhi village of Khwaja Sabz Posh district, Faryab province.

Moreover, he elaborated that during the period of time, a remote-control mine, which had been buried in Bagh-e Shamal area of Pul-e-Khumri city, had been also detected and blown up before explosion by mine disposal team of ANA 2nd Infantry Brigade. 

Based on the source, in frame of Nusrat-97 Operation, Isar and Nawid-8 operations are currently on track in Faryab province.
