Balkh Police, in cooperation with Bayanshamal Media Center, launched a Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) and preventing fire campaign in four schools in Balkh province and distributed instruction packages to students.

Sher Jan Durani, Spokesman for Balkh Police said today is the last day of the campaign in Ali Chopan girls’ school and four other schools were covered during this campaign and it was welcomed by teachers and students.

He asked students and people to cooperate with them and said that whenever they see dubious things they should inform police by dialing 119 and if a fire takes place they should dial 101 to inform Balkh Fire Station.

Students of Sultan Gheyasuddin, Setara, Ali Chopan and Yulmarab in Mazar-e Sharif benefitted the aforementioned campaign. 

In the meantime, Balkh Police asks Bayanshamal Media Center to help them implement this campaign in all schools across Balkh province.
