Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, CEO of Afghanistan in his trip to Balkh province by inauguration of Uzbekistani products exhibition in Mazar-e Sharif city, met and talked with Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.
CEO of the country said different issues like extension of railway from Balkh to Herat and beyond the border, extension of electricity cable, technical and educative assistance and investment were stressed by both parties in this session.
He added that in the sidelines of Made in Uzbekistan exposition, a trade agreement was also signed.
Mr. Abdullah maintained that in near future an Afghan commercial exhibition will be held in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan which can be effective in increasing exports.
In the meantime, Abdulla Aripov Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister informed about 1 billion dollar investment of his country’s businessmen in Afghanistan and stressed that Uzbekistan is ready to have close collaboration with Afghanistan in agriculture, commerce, electricity, railway, gas, and investment sectors.
