Jowzjan Provincial Hospital opens emergency services

Emergency services section of Sheberghan city hospital which has been built for 200,000 USD by ICRC organization, was officially inaugurated today.

Hafizullah Jamshidi, Public Health Director of Jowzjan says 45% of patients in Jowzjan Provincial Hospital are wounded of war and traffic accidents from Faryab, Sar-e Pul and Jowzjan provinces. He adds that previously the hospital had only 5 beds and now that 20 beds have been added problem from lack of room in the emergency ward has been resolved. 

It is while, two months ago, six health clinics were handed over to use in Jowzjan province through Public Health Ministry of the country.
