Six drinking water projects implemented in Samangan

Officials of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Samangan province reported about completion of 6 projects by Citizen Charter Program in Hazrat Sultan district.

Abdul Rab Hakimi, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Samangan says that the projects include drilling of 32 half-deep wells with all equipment in Hazrat Sultan district, which were implemented through the Citizen Charter Program over the course of the ongoing year and they were handed over to use today.

According to Mr. Hakimi, these projects cost about 10 million AFN, which has been paid through the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, and with their completion about 900 families in the district have gained access to safe drinking water.

This happens while officials in the department had announced completion of four projects, including a cemented wall, a school building and two motorway bridges.
