Officials at Sar-e Pul Education Directorate today informed about start of work on 7 infrastructure projects in center of the province and Sancharak and Balkhab districts.
Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Sar-e Pul province has informed about utilization of 60 projects and start of 38 other projects through National Water Supply Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of the country in this province.
Ahmad Jawid Jawid told Bayan-e Shamal the projects included digging 30 half-deep wells in 7 villages in Sancharak district and 30 other half-deep wells in the center of Gosfandi district in Sar-e Pul province.
Mr. Jawid added that the total cost of these projects was more than 118 million AFN, which had been paid by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and the problems of about 4,000 families from lack of drinking water in the above-mentioned districts have been resolved.
He also notifies about launch of 38 other projects in the Balkhab and Sancharak districts of the province, saying that the projects include networking of drinking water from natural springs to the centers of the two districts.
This happens while officials at Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Sar-e Pul, a while back, had reported about utilization of a water supply network in Balkhab district.
