Civil Society and media in Sar-e Pul support election

Members of Civil Society Network of Sar-e Pul province had a joint session with officials and employees of Electoral Affairs Department in the province and proclaimed their support from the election yesterday.

Aziz Ahmad Rasooli, Director at Electoral Affairs of Sar-e Pul province, considered the purpose of the session sharing information about start of election, mutual cooperation between election commission and civil organs and transparent supervision of the election process by supervisors and civil and media activists and said that civil organs and media have an efficient role to play in public awareness campaign. 

He asked the participants of the session to cooperate with Electoral Affairs Department in holding the election.

Meanwhile, Atila Noori, Head of Sar-e Pul Civil Society Network announced his support from election and asked the government to make the space for a transparent and justly election. 

According to Director of Electoral Affairs after precise studies, 146 polling places have been confirmed in the province and voters’ registration will start in two phases from 15 Hamal of the upcoming solar year in the polling places.
