Miss. Nabila Habibi, Head of Sar-e Pul Women’s Affairs Department, in the inauguration ceremony, told Bayan-e Shamal that 70 women had been enrolled in the course who would be taught driving skills and traffic rules and regulations for 6 months.
Miss. Habibi also notified about creation of computer course for 30 women in the province and stated that the two projects cost 2 million AFN, which was paid through development budget of Women’s Affairs Department.
Lieutenant Abdul Salam Qarizada, Acting Traffic Director of Sar-e Pul, in addition to appreciating this initiative by the women’s department, says the students in the course will get theoretical lessons for the first three months and after that practical lessons will begin.
This happens while officials of Women’s Affairs Department of Sar-e Pul had previously reported about launching ending violence against women campaign in center and 5 districts of the province.
